The new Slipper album 'THE HAUNTED DANCEHALL' is ready and has been
mastered in LA by Noa (Daniel) Lazerus, who also whips out his blues harp
on a few tracks! The album has been FTP'd back and sounds fantastic, Noa's masterful
mastering is supreme. The album sounds fat and modern and old at the same time. Timeless
- Slipper at their finest!!
The album features Loop Guru Members including Mad Jym, (Jym Darling)
Linda Finger, Liz Fletcher and Jamuud, also featured are singers
Lucinda Seiger and Andrea Black.
No sooner has one Slipper album been finished,Slipper started work on the next project
Slipper VS The Last Tribe. This is to be a unique collaboration between Sam
(Loop Guru) and Neil Sparkes from Temple of Sound.
The pair have been firm friends since touring together with Loop Guru and
Transglobal Underground. Many a natter about collaborating over large quantities
of booze coming to fruit in a psychedelic jazz dub hop loungeclash! Awesome!!!! More
work to do but the foundation of a totally brilliant album have been firmly laid. |
