Slipper + Naked Sunday
Collective + Moist + Lishka + Parkbench DJ
A pioneering project, bringing together the visceral pleasures of a gig and the
lasting pleasure of owning a piece of recorded music. Each Spitz Live Records gig
is recorded. One track from each artist's set is selected for inclusion on a Spitz
Live Records CD, distributed FREE to all those who attend.
Slipper are: "A cool" lounge/jazz/electronica hybrid, with solipsistic
lifestyle poetry slipped on top... finger-clickingly attractive."
(The Independent on Sunday).
Lishka bring you unsettling fairytales, haunting pop and evocative stories of sea
monkeys, summer evening romance and insect suicides. Told with a five piece line-up
of insistent guitar and hypnotic rhythms woven through with accordion, sax and swooning
cello attacks. Naked Sunday Collective merge phat breaks, dnb and jazz.
The Spitz, 109 Commercial St, Old Spitalfields Market, London E1 6BG. £5 advance,
£8 on door.
