Slipper are inviting all and sundry to download
the tune and to put down their own vocal. On sending back the vocal, Slipper will
then listen to each and every entry and if liked will be put on the next Slipper
album due out early next year.
Sam of Slipper says 'I love the idea of hearing others interpretation of Slipper's
music. We are thrilled with our singers Linda Finger and Liz Fletcher and they will
be involved in the choosing of the winning vocal. What is important to know is that
anything goes so long as its in tune!'

Competition Rules
1. The competition is open only to those aged 18 or over. No employees of the Mechanism
and Elsewhen Records, its partners and their immediate families may enter.
2. Mechanism and Elsewhen Records reserve the right to change, modify or cancel the
present prize if circumstances require it.
3. No purchase is necessary to enter the competition.
4. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
5. The vocal will be chosen on Friday 21st March 2003 and will be made by members
of Slipper. The winner will be notified via email or post by the 4th April 2003.
6. The competition winner will have their vocal recorded on the chosen track on the
forthcoming Slipper album (yet to be named and released).
7. The competition winner will be named as the writer of that vocal and will receive
publishing royalties of an equal proportion to the other writers. In the event that
two entries are deemed the winner, a split of the publishing royalty would take place.
8. No responsibility is accepted for entries that are lost or delayed due to system
failure.
9. Details of the winner will be available by sending an SAE marked Slipper Vocal
Competition, Elsewhen Records, 59 Lateward Road, Old Brentford, Middlesex, TW8 OPL
or by sending us an email to mail@mechanismrecords.com or info@elsewhen.org.uk including the phrase "Competition Results" in the
subject line.
10. There is no cash alternative to this competition. Mechanism and Elsewhen Records
reserves the right to cease the competition at any time due to circumstances, operational
or organisational reasons beyond its control.
11. We reserve the right to publish the winner's name and photograph in future promotions.
12. Completed vocal recordings must be received by midnight on Friday 28th February
