Latex opened one of the most exciting electronic event of the year, the So
Far Festival 2003 Edition, which took place at Zo Centre in Catania, Italy,
last 12th, 13th and 14th December 2003.
Latex played as open act to Kevin Martin aka The BUG
(Rephlex)featuring MC Simon on the mike, followed by Cinematic Orchestra
(Ninja Tunes) and Fennezs (Mego), respectively on 13th and 14th december.
Latex performance was been characterized by the surprising apperance of Bob
Zoo from Loozoo at drums section. A really unique and bizzare graft that
generated an intriguing Latex-Loozoo mixed sound. The experiment was totally unexpected
and unprogrammed, Bob Zoo joined the rest of the band on stage with his laptop in
a perfect "jamming session style !".
The audience was been amazed and hypnotized by the event, could it be a starting
point for something new ? who knows !?
THE BUG show was been simply shocking, aggressive and incisive like a razor.
We are still trying to recover from his astonishing performance. Fabulous !!!!
